Kienapfel History

It's simple really, Oswald Kienapfel came to Canada and was followed by his brother Herbert  ( with wife and child). Then the two brothers convinced their parents to emigrate as well. I suppose there are more details, and  I will fill them in at some time, but basically that is it. The genealogical section will have some biographies which will help clarify this.

One other thing, seems that most historical tracings go back to Hagenau, in what was at one time Prussia. The links below relate to this and whatever I have found on the world wide web in 2002.

A final note is that I am not trying to make connections between myself and all the other kienapfels in the world However, if you pay close attention to the genealogy pages, I will probably trace roots back to the late 1800's and then mention some other kienapfel in the 1700's. I will then let the reader draw their own conclusions.
